Pendampingan Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Melalui Metode Tilawati di Masjid Anwarul Huda Dan TPQ Ad Damawiyah Desa Telajung

Abstract

Quranic reading proficiency among children in Telajung Village remains low due to a lack of motivation and a scarcity of varied learning methods. This community service initiative aims to improve the quality of Quranic recitation by implementing the *Tilawati* method at the Ad Damawiyah Quran Education Center (TPQ) and the Anwarul Huda Mosque. A service-learning approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, documentation, and direct mentoring through both classical (group) and "read-and-listen" techniques. The results showed improvements in the children's recognition of Arabic script (*hijaiyah*) and reading fluency, alongside increased discipline and enthusiasm for Quranic study. Although the improvement was not drastic, the method proved effective in making the learning process more enjoyable. This activity contributes positively to enhancing Quranic literacy and fostering a Quran-oriented mindset within the community from an early age.
